The Hay Group signs on as 2012 RECA Gardner-Betts Art Auction Sponsor

[AUSTIN, TX]—The Hay Legal Group PLLC has signed on as an Event Sponsor for the Real Estate Council of Austin’s 2012 Gardner-Betts Art Show and Silent Auction to be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the lobby of the San Jacinto Center, 98 San Jacinto Blvd.

The Event, hosted by the RECA, directly benefits Project Bridge, the art and music enrichment component of the Gardner-Betts Juvenile Justice Center’s Leadership Academy. Project Bridge, which is entirely funded by RECA, pays for art and music teachers from the Austin Lyric Opera, as well as supplies for the coming year. The participants in the program qualify for placement by agreeing to attend classes, perform chores, participate in counseling sessions, and work to better themselves as individuals.

The Leadership Academy is a sentencing alternative for juvenile offenders who have been sentenced to the Texas Youth Commission (TYC) to serve their sentence in Travis County rather than being incarcerated at one of the TYC facilities around the state.
